Theology Thursday (General Revelation)

Hello, and Welcome Back to Theology Thursday! Yesterday I. attended the second week of Bible Study Fellowship and to my surprise, yesterday's study notes spoke of General Revelation and I remembered General Revelation being spoken of in one of The Bible Study Studio's gifted Theology Books, so as soon as I got home from class, I reached for one of the three theology books I've selected from the stacks to incorporate into my studies. The theology book I'm speaking of today is Basic Theology by Charles C Ryrie, Ryrie does a really good job of explaining General Revelation, his explanation is in section two, under The Living and True God. He goes on to explain on page twenty-eight all the aspects of General Revelation; for one thing, it's General as opposed to Special Revelation. General Revelation reaches to all people, in all places, and through the same means, such as the warmth of the sun. According to Ryrie and I agree, General Revelation affects all people when and where they live and have lived. The General Revelation of God thus has the ability to bring truth and light to all those with the capacity to understand the warmth of the sun, must come from someone powerful somewhere.
