JESUS HAD TO PASS THROUGH SAMARIA

The message, mission, ministry, methods and mandates of The One And Only Jesus were set in place thousands of years ago! The means by which HE gracefully conducted our Father's everyday business is laid bare for us in the entirety of The New Testament. The standard of the life of Jesus is his message, mission and his ministry. Passing through SAMARIA was an integral part of HIS mission! Passing through SAMARIA was an essential part of his assignment. If we were to read and study the entire passage of John 4 pertaining to the Samaritan woman, we would see some form or fashion of the key word Samaritan six times in nine verses of the text! Jesus HAD to pass through SAMARIA. Places in the Bible are often associated with PEOPLE. Jesus HAD to pass through SAMARIA, is so that HE, himself could minister to the Samaritan woman! Jewish people avoided the SAMARITAN people. They went completely out of their way to avoid their communities, as well. But, our Jewish Jesus HAD to pass through SAMARIA and not only pass through, but we see Jesus sitting by the well in SAMARIA and we see Jesus speaking with the SAMARITAN woman and it does not end there! Finally, we see The One And Only Jesus staying with the Samaritans for two days.

A message, mission and ministry which does not physically seek out the opposition or the obverse of itself  is simply not aligned in any way, shape, form or fashion with the methods and mandates of The One And Only Jesus.
