THREE YEARS OF Miscellaneous Type NOTE TAKING

It's an unpopular position, but I generally resist writing in my Bibles. I used to write and stick anything and everything in my Read and Carry Bible all the time. But, one day during Sunday School, an older woman friend admonished me and another friend of our lack of apparent reverence for The Holy Word of God. It's actually the same Godly woman who invited me to BSF almost fourteen years ago, this January. She is exactly almost exactly twenty years older than me. There is only a difference of a few months.

It's an unpopular position, but I generally resist writing in my Bibles and three years ago when my sister had a massive stroke, my mind was so full of this, that and the other, I increased my note taking from Sunday's to every day of the week. I try to take the monthly composition book with me most everywhere I go. Just in case, the Lord's speaks to me when I'm out and about, I have the ability to record (write down) exactly what him or another has said.

My note taking system is both monthly and seasonally. I also keep a separate stack of composition books for projects!

Recently, I've become inspired by Jonathan Edwards Note- taking System.   I doubt JE'S note-taking system is anything I would try and replicate, but my interest is peeked nevertheless.

Last year I purchased a few pastel colored compositions books and they are bringing spring to my soul this winter. It's an unpopular position, but I generally resist writing in my Bibles and now you know why!
