The rejected & resurrected Jesus: The Only Hope for a numb nation - A guide for Holy Week & beyond

Welcome to a day by day Biblical accounting of the formally Old Testament recondite, wildly rejected, divinely resurrected but on that day returning one and only Jesus, He is the only HOPE for any nation, but especially a numb nation. This particular Holy Week and Beyond Guide doesn't stop on day eight, no this accounting includes all of the recorded post resurrection appearances!

After he had suffered, he also presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God. Acts 1:3 CSB

Prior to his arrest Jesus's person and ministry were openly rejected and this rejection is recorded in the sixth chapter of the book of Mark.

The NIV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible indicates Jesus likely arrived in Bethany on Friday, six days before the passover to spend some time with his friends Mary, Martha and Lazarus. This agenda would also allow Jesus time to spend the Sabbath with his friends as well. This timeline would fulfill the ancient riding a donkey prophecy of the Palm Parade on Sunday.

To Be Cont.
