Only The Resurrected Jesus serves a Beach Breakfast for seven (7)

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about Father's Day. My earthly Father passed away some twenty years ago. My Dad was the most peculiar type of fellow. Some Dads like to fish, not mine, but he absolutely loved to dig a shallow pit, line it with charcoal, light a fire and grill some fish.

His love of grilling fish on an open fire reminds me of the resurrected Jesus.

Is it not interesting to know The Last Supper was not the final earthly meal, most of the disciples had with the the one and only Jesus.

I say most because the biblical text list seven disciples in John 21:2 who were at the sea of Galilee after one of the three times Jesus manifested himself to them. Them being the disciples.

It's at this point when Simon Peter impulsively hangs out his very own GONE FISHING sign and the rest of the listed disciples are faithful to join him, but that night they caught nothing!

And, by day break the resurrected Jesus stood on the beach shore and the disciples didn't even recognize him!

The resurrected Jesus stood on the beach asking a question, he already knew the answer to. The NIV translation has Jesus questioning the disciples as Friends: Friends, haven't you any fish questions the resurrected Jesus and almost just like before (Luke 5) Jesus gives Peter and this time the boys, some simple instructions on how to catch some fish.

It's the same body of water, it's the same no catch situation, it's basically the same simple instructions, and it's the same outcome, because it's the same Jesus! The notable difference is this time there was no crowd, just the resurrected Jesus and the seven disciples and a great haul of big fish.

Eventually, they all gather back to the shore of Galilee with the great haul of fish to also discover the one and only Jesus with a beach fire of burning coals and a special servant invitation (John 21:13) to a FRESH BIG FISH SANDWICH breakfast on the beach.

Is it not interesting to know The Last Supper was not the final earthly meal, most of the disciples had with the the one and only Jesus.
